• We use no cookies, no analytics and no advertising.
• There are no sign-ups or forms: we don't ask for personal data.
• If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply.

Who is responsible

The data controller is the owner of bgkompas.com. Contact: info@bgkompas.com.

What data is processed

• Hosting data. The site is hosted on Cloudflare. When you open a page, Cloudflare processes your IP address, browser type and request time to deliver the page and protect the site from attacks. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Photos and maps. City photos load from Pexels, maps from OpenStreetMap and the map library from cdnjs (Cloudflare). As with any file download, these services receive your IP address; they set no cookies on our site. See the Pexels and OpenStreetMap policies.
• Theme choice. If you switch between light and dark themes, your choice is stored only in your browser (localStorage) and is not sent anywhere.
• Emails. We keep your address and message for as long as needed to reply or work together, then delete them. Legal basis: your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict processing or object to it. Email info@bgkompas.com. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Changes

If we add analytics or advertising, we will update this policy first and ask for cookie consent where the law requires it.
